Yoga is a fantastic grounding in mind and body integration and is an essential tool I believe in a busy life to aid with stress, anxiety and even depression, yet it does not offer the relational healing that psychotherapy helps with. In a counselling session we work 1-1 with your thoughts, feelings and sensations to integrate, understand and heal wounds.
My aim is to create a safe, reliable, warm and confidential space for you to explore whatever is troubling you. The relationship we create – the rapport and trust – can be one of the most healing parts of therapy. Being heard and seen by your counsellor is crucial. I will listen, support and at times gently challenge you when, and if, I think it will be helpful.
