Why Integrative Counselling and Psychotherapy?
Yoga is a fantastic grounding in mind and body integration and is an essential tool I believe in a busy life to aid with stress, anxiety and even depression. Yet it does not offer the relational healing that counselling/psychotherapy offers.
Relationships are fundamental to living a healthy and satisfying life. Yet they can present incredible challenges. Family history and experience can leave us with deep and painful wounds and unhelpful relating patterns. Other events and circumstances in life can feel overwhelming and difficult. In a therapy session we work 1-1 with your thoughts, feelings and sensations to integrate, understand and heal wounds. Depending upon what the problem is, the work can be short-term or long-term.
